3♥. When I opened 1♠ rather than 1NT, I planned to treat this as a balanced 18-count, and it hasn't got any worse.

3♥, for all of the varied reasons suggested so far, plus others that are too secret to share.

And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."
