(1) seems like a system issue - if you're playing 3♣ as pass/correct then you correct, else you raise.

(2) pass, I have more defense than I promised and no obvious great fit

(1) For those who play 2N asking for the minor other new suit bids (like 3♣) are often just long suits, not necessarily good hands. I suppose over a weak NT you might want it to show a better hand with it's own long suit? Playing 2N asking for my minor, unless I'd agreed that this 3♣ was both it's own suit and a decent hand I would just pass.

Obviously if 3♣ is pass/correct I bid 3♦.

I think Mike would have mentioned if 3♣ is p/c. I bid 4♣. if my 2nd suit was clubs, I'd be making more noise here.

I pass on the 2nd and don't consider it to be close.

IMO _P = 10, 4N = 8, 5♥ = 6.
