6 asks for 3rd round control.

Without I'd bid 6, with xx 7 and with the queen 7. I expect partner to bid 7NT next, but 7 is of course also possible.

I agree that 6 asks about hearts, but I think that the right response is 7, enabling partner to bid 7NT with something like KQx AKJxx Axx Kx.

By the way, I would have rebid 3 rather than 2NT. With a good hand opposite another good hand, it's best to be honest about your shape.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

Can someone tell me the difference between "choice of slams" and "ask to 7"? Seems like we're using post-RKCB bids for both purposes.... How is pard supposed to tell which is which?
