pass? it's all white, and against total beginners. They need to get to game first.

2N asking followed by stopping in 3♠ sometimes works well against beginners. Still, I like to have a 3 card raise for that, but a total bust might be good enough to preempt with since they must have game+.

Of course pass against total beginners, they will probably miss their slam anyway so why invite disaster.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

Pass.
If I already leading big, why would I want to
make the whole thing random.
Simple advice from the old ages: If you outclass
your opponents dont psych, play normal.
With kind regards

Against total beginners? Pass!

I'd pass against anybody. Joking around will likely be very costly.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

Okay, I am not really proud of it, but I 3♠'d at the table -- long tank by LHO, then all pass.
3♠-4 was win 7 when our partners were kicking themselves for not bidding the obvious slam.

Just remember bad habits die hard
Wouldn't surprise me if you made the best bid against your actual opps though.
