Tyler, I think the double on this hand is not a good bid. Freaks are hard to bid, but why not express your hand more accurately with a 4NT bid?Partner is now in a far better position to evaluate minor suit cards.

How about 2NT followed by a diamond bid. 4NT takes up a lot of room and on this hand you might like the room.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

That's what I would do with this.
The other strategy I would consider is minimum diamonds followed by lots of clubs. In our style that would be at least 6=5 on most auctions.

Agree with slower approach. Never 4NT on 7-5, at least not when the 7-bagger is the far superior suit (regarding suit quality).
