all white imps pd passes, RHO opens 1♣, we bid 1♥, lho passes, cho raises to 4♥, rho bids 4♠. pd is a good player. his 4♥ bid should mean he has 5 of them.

I'll bump it one more. 5♥ could make and unless partner has a lot of spades that he didn't mention I think this they're going to make.

All partner needs is an ace with his 5 hearts for this to have a very good shot of making. Too much risk of a double game swing. 5♥ it is.

I would bid 5♥. I do not see how bidding 5♦ can help anyone but the opponents, since there is no way we are bidding 6-anything.
