Scoring: IMP

P - P - 1* - P
1 - P - 2 - P
??

* - 1 promises 4+

Also, do you agree with the 1 call?

I have pretty much the worst hand I could have for my bidding, and no fit with partner. Also, I can't pass. 2NT seems clear to me. I'm not an authority, though.

And yes, I agree with 1
Still decidedly intermediate - don't take my guesses as authoritative.

2NT, what ever it may mean, I have it.

And yes, I agree with 1S.

Pass - partner may kill, you if he has a monster

2S - shows 5+, depending on your reverse style
you may play oppossite a singel or doubleton

3C - shows more strength

3D - an option, but should show 3 cards, and some
may play it as stronger, depends on agreement

3H - should show a real fit, and sounds stronger

I wont consider the rest, because those are just
fillers.

With kind regards
Marlowe

Another vote for 1 and 2NT.

You should look at the "a primer on reverse bidding" that has been stickied in the B/I forum.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

I thought 1nt response is better when the major in 4 is so poor.
It's not what you are, it's how you say it!

Playing standard 2NT showing a club stopper seems very normal.

With six hcp you are definitely worth an initial response and bidding your four-card major is standard and best.
