We have a meta-agreement that a double at the three-level on this sort of auction (anything except (3x) opening and when we have not already limited our hand) is primarily aimed at finding a stopper for 3NT.

Feel free to suggest your own methods/styles.

Playing standard methods I would make a card showing double. I would expect to beat 3♥ 2 tricks and maybe 3.

Playing your methods, I'd bid 3N. The chances of it making depend on whether or not pard has a max pass / double and the location of pard's honors and minor suit length. I'd say pard's most likely shape is 2155.

Without being able to double in your methods you are just screwed, no other bid is satisfactory. Unhappy pass.

I'm also not happy about the methods, at least on this hand I'm not happy. We know partner does not have 3 spades so 3NT needs a lot. I'd also pass.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.
