Lead Problem

I lead a small spade declerer may have the ace or is void in both cases i like to give the hand to declerers hand not dummy. Trump lead sounds good after direct bid to 6h but it may help finese the honor in hearts missing. The other 2 suits can wait any of it can promote a suit in declerer hand.
It's not what you are, it's how you say it!

Will try a heart. Don't see why I need to make an active lead here.
Declarer could have 9 hearts to the AK and KQJx in diamonds or clubs. That hand would jump to 6H.
If I lead the wrong minor suit ace, declarer is home. If I lead a spade, dummy could have the ace and there goes declarer's minor suit loser.

Pard has an opening bid and I have 12 HCP and 2 aces?
I suspect declarer has the rest including a long strong heart suit. I will not lead a heart in case dummy is void and pard has Qxx in hearts.
For declarer to make this bid, he must be void in spades, and have a second suit.
If he is speculating with a hand like this he is down
♠
♥ AKQJxxxxxxx
♦ x
♣ x
What I am worried about is this:
♠ Ax
♥ AKJTxxxxx
♦ KQJ
♣
I lead the Spade K

Count me down for a heart lead. Anything could be wrong, and either minor almost certainly is. Given the bidding and my heart doubleton, I don't think that partner having Qxx in hearts is too likely.

I don't see how it's possible that dummy has any controls. What could my partner be bidding on, otherwise?
Declarer must have all the controls I'm missing in hearts and a minor. That only leaves partner with 10 useful hcp...the KQJ in the other minor and the AQ of spades. He might have some wastage in opener's suits (Qx or something) but surely he has both the K in the other minor and the A of spades.
I can't see any harm in leading spades. I don't see how it helps either, except that it makes the hand more clear to partner. May as well lead a heart.

definitely agree with the trump leaders for the reasons mentioned. For the curious, declarer had 8 solid hearts and 5 clubs to the QJ
