King, i dont see teh point in overcalling on crap spades with length in their suit if I dont have an opener.

Not really, there were 5 spades, and Mat and I would overcall with an additional spade, making it a 6-card.

1♠. I don't care so much what my second club is. I love ugly 1Ma overcalls.
Reverse the red suits, and I'd pass. With ♥KQx it would be bad if partner competes with spades over hearts.
