LHO bids 1♦ and it gets passed back around to you. You balance 2♥ (agree?) and LHO bids 2♠ which comes back.
Now?

First pass is 100% clear. I don't mind the balance. I'd pass out 2S. I'd lead a low spade at trick 2.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

Did LHO bid 1N? Anyway, 2♥ looks ok. Can LHO still have 3 spades? If not, I have to admit a double is tempting, but I would pass.
