BBO on (Linux) Ubuntu 7.10? Anyone have it working?

There used to be a thread on this that disappeared recently.
I am running Ubuntu 7.10, and BBO seems to install (using Wine) but fails when I try to run it. Does anyone have it working (other than on the Eee)?

There was recently a Wine update so that may help as well.
"Champions aren't made in gyms, champions are made from something they have deep inside them - a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. " - M. Ali

Hello all.
I'm using Fedora 8 i386 + wine 0.9.52 and i have following problem:
If i run BBO under WinXP compatibility - i didn't see even players in lobby.
If i run under Win98 - i see players, but no stars etc... i can enter table, but no suits available - only red crosses.
The problem is probably in HTML rendering...
I haven't copied dll's from Windows or something like that - just plain Wine install and BBO.
Can somebody help?

Red crosses, etc: Get the symbol.ttf file from Windows, put it where wine can pick it up. that's all you need.
In new installations, you see only friends in lobby, unless you change the configuration.

Thank you everyone. BBO under Wine works reasonably well under Ubuntu 7.10 following these steps to install:
0. Install Wine using the Synaptic Package Manager.
1. Do "wine bbo_setup.exe"
2. Copy Symbol font "symbol.ttf" to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/fonts
Then:
1. The launcher on the desktop should work. If not, run "wine NetBridgeVu.exe".
2. When BBO starts, you are told that the Gecko installer should be run. After it is run, BBO works as far as I've tested it. However, the "Back" button is off the screen, so the only way to leave a table is to get out of BBO.
Does anyone know how to see the back button and other controls at the bottom of the BBO window?

I'll assume your monitor has a 1024x768 resolution.
Either CTRL-W (so BBO doesn't take full screen), or autohide the GNOME top and bottom panels.
