2NT, if natural. Otherwise use whatever gadget you have to show a 13-14 balanced hand....

3NT. I might go down.

Of course, this is biased, because I would not overcall 1♠ with hands that others would overcall here. If I cannot overcall 2♠ with the weak hands, I pass.

Agree with Nuno, I think 2NT shows 12-13, but I don't like my heart holding, I wanna downgrade a bit.

2N looks stand out unless overcalls show opening bids for you.

2NT, 13-15. Asks partner to bid game with an opening bid (12+). Although you can picture weaker hands where you might win a fast 9 tricks (especially on a heart lead), you will probably need full values from partner to establish the spades, stop clubs, and get to his hand to cash the winners. Note that 1NT shows around 9-12.

I like to play 2NT always shows a four-card raise, under which agreement this hand bids 2H, a general force (not specifically a raise). Stopping at 2S when partner is minimum is a good idea.

Some players may expect an opening bid for a vulnerable overcall, but I think it's safer to bid a good 5 card suit at the 1 level than to try and back in later. I'm not passing AKJxx at any vulnerability; I think I've been nailed once in the last 15 years on this sort of overcall at the one level.

2NT for me as I don't play it as a gadget and this isn't good enough to play 3NT if PD has his/her minimum overcall.

Obvious 2NT. Tough bid if playing 2NT is a raise.

That's me.

Now, although 1♠ shows an "opening bid," it might be a somewhat light opening bid. But, we all have a sense of humor.

Right, exactly. 1♠ shows an opening bid for me too, and I open good 5 counts or better.

Depends a bit. After a 1-level overcall by pard, which is usually 8-17 hcp, I bid

1NT = 8-12
2NT = 13-14
3NT = 15-17

The idea is: "since an overcall usually done on a Q less than a normal opening, add a Q to the usual NT replies."

Wow about 95 % play 2 NT here as natural?
Another bet I had lost.

It is not for me, so I must try 2 ♥ followed by 2 NT over the expected minimum showing 2 Spade bid and 3 NT over any louder noise from pd.
Kind Regards

Roland
