I pass. I'm worried about partner getting overboard if I bid now. Passing could well be a mistake now.

What is wrong is among other things that 4N shows a two-suiter, while you have a one-suiter.

I agree with Arend. I would overcall 3♦.

There's a lot of spades on this hand and pard probably has some. If I overcall, I will be either pulling penalty doubles or pard's spade bids.

While I agree that this hand has potential, it isn't getting passed out.

I would pass now planning to bid as much as 5♦ next round if needed.

When it goes 2♥ p 3♥ 3♠ p and I bid 4♦, I will have example number 8972 why these bids should not promise tolerance for partner's suit.

When I played this board RHO passed and I opened 5♦, I think I can still overcall 5♦ with this hand.

Pass. We have discusses situations like this before - while the hand has plenty of playing strength partner will think you have a real overcall if you bid and you will likely end in a hopeless contract if she has values. Pass and come in later if able to do so.

I join the pass + 5♦ choir. That's the sort of bid this hand was made for :P
