see page 4.

Would someone please explain the current, 12-20-07, method of masterpoint awards for ACBL/BBO policy for online masterpoints?
1) Does BBO award overall awards? It appears BBO is allowed that option.
2) Does the 2.5 max award apply to BBO online, today? Perhaps not since the tourney is only 12 bds?
3) Any change in plans for ACBL/BBO online teamgames?

Thank you in advance.

Can Fred or Uday or someone on the ACBL/BBO staff pls respond to my post? Ty.

If overall awards are not allowed in standard club games are special games allowed on acbl/bbo online?

I can answer one of your questions.....Ordinary club games do NOT give overall awards.

ok ty

Is BBO/ACBL online permitted to run the same "special" club games that f2f clubs are allowed. This includes charity games or club championship games.

The rules changed in 2008.

We're discussing the change w/Memphis, trying to understand how best to alter the games we have now ( or whether to alter them ).

Overall awards have gone up for club games but I think there is a minimum table-count (and perhaps other restrictions).

Online clubs are generally not allowed to run special games.
