My Quick Fun Indy

3pm EST on Mondays

You say main director is terry2575. Unless he's planning on co-directing, it should be main director mr1303

Thanks for this

I too must add my Kudos to you for another job well done Gwen.

Like spwdo, I know how busy you are and how tirelessly and generously you give of your time to BBO.

These few words are unequal to your efforts - but .... just the same.... THANKS!

Perhaps I find that all this splendid job is not served to anything, all TD start all without to respect rules:-(
there would be need of rules..

Good Point Elena -

TD's often add to the tournament schedule without concern or awareness of what is already planned ..... this leads to competition for players and for subs and can have the effect of making us look to the players as though we do not communicate with one another.

Just like everything that involves growth and change - this is being addressed in "baby steps". The first positive step is the formation of the BBO TD's Coalition. We gather as a group several times a month and share input/concerns on a variety of topics. One of our priorities is Scheduling issues. All of our meetings are followed up by posted Minutes so that those who either haven't been able to attend, or could not attend the entire meeting, have access to a full report of the meeting. Those minutes are posted here on the Forum.

More and more, the TD's are becoming aware of the published schedule. This is something that will require some time, but it is really coming along more quickly than anticipated. I think the TD's as a group are anxious to cooperate with one another. For this reason, I believe we'll continue to see improvement in this area.

To any TD's who may read this, there is a link to the Schedule from the BBO Tournament screen and the URL is www.bridgebase.com/tourneyschedule/. If you have not taken a look at this site, you will find much that will be helpful to you there. Once you have the schedule on your screen, clicking on any single event will bring up a description of the event.
