partner opened 2NT

Partner opens 2NT (20-21).
You play some kind of puppet stayman.
If you bid 3♣ then partner bids 3♥, meaning no 4 or 5 card Major.
You can now bid 4♣ which is slem interest in ♣ or slem interest with 4/4 minors. Over 4 ♣ partner can bid :
- 4♦ with ♦'s (you can sign of in 4NT)
- or cue 4♥/4♠ with a 4-card ♣.
- He can sign of with 4NT.
What is your plan?

That being said, I think I would have skipped Puppet, modified or not, on this hand and would have opted for a 3♠ call, which I suspect to be a relay to 3NT for minor probes (if you play Lazy-Cure Puppet). If you add in that Opener can reject the relay and bid 4♣ with a general "I'd accept a lot of minor-oriented slam tries" super-acceptance, you will get the answer you want. You forfeit finding the 5-3 heart fit, but I can live with that.

No, 3♠ would show 5/4 in the minors and slem interest.
5 card minor or 4/4 minors and slem interest go via 3♣
With 6 card minor and good slem interst we bid 4 in the minor
Quote
We bid that via 3♣ followed by 4♣, but will end in 4NT iso 3NT if no fit.

- 2NT-4m = slem interest with 6-card in that minor, opener tries to sign off with 4NT
- 2NT-3C-3x-4C (with 3x denying a 5-card major) = slem interest with 4/4 in minors or 5-card Club, opener bids 4D if he likes D and not C or tries to sign off with 4NT
- 2NT-3C-3x-4D (with 3x denying a 5-card major) = slem interest with 5-card Diamond, opener tries to sign off with 4NT
- 2NT-3S = slem interest with 5/4 in minors, opener bid 3NT without a 4-card minor

Too strong for 2nt
As usual this was partner's fault not ours.

That hand is way too strong for a 20-21 NT. 21 hcp, only controls and a 5-card suit should be upgraded to a 22-24 NT (upper half of that range maybe), because of it's slam potential. I'd not invite slam with the OP hand, but it's close.

I get to 24 HCP's without even accounting for the fifth club. LOL I might consider Kokish with this hand. Not really, but almost. If partner did that, I'd be OK with it.
