Of course "no raptor", because raptor was invented to solve excactly the problems with this particular hand type.
It is like: You must use raptor and then you show a balanced 17 HCP hand with double stop. :)

Anyway without raptor I try 2 .

The best reason to forget the Hearts and don´t care about the weak suit:
2 Club is the worst overcall for the opponents and give them the most pressure. And it is my best and longest suit....

If I have the possibility to show my hearts at a decent level later, I will.
Kind Regards

Roland

I have a pretty unexciting 13 count with dubious diamond and spade values and I'm considering anything except the green card because...?

Yes, easy pass. Make it two or three HCPs stronger and it becomes interesting, but in the meantime the clubs or hearts may have become biddable, or you got a diamond stopper and can bid 1NT.

Pass for me. There's no compelling reason to be in the auction opposite a passed partner at the moment.

Pass.

Even playing Raptor, I am not sure,
I could brind my self to use it, but
than I have never played it, ...
maybe one learns to make those bids.

Uneasy pass. I want to participate in the bidding but I don't see how.

Normally a pass, but 1 is possible if I'm in the mood for it. Not 2.

According to Sabine you should overcall 2 over 1 as often as possible - I just don't agree. :)
Kind regards,
Harald
