If I open, I open 2♦. In my preferred, but certainly not mainstream, methods, we use 2♥ as a checkback for a four card major, so I would be somewhat protected if we belong in a high spade contract (I'd show a max with 4=6 if the method arose).

As to whether I open: I think I do, even tho this is hardly a prototypical weak 2 at favourable in 1st seat. I am NOT opening at the 1-level, tempting tho it appears.

I'd open 2♦ also.

I'd reopen after 2♥-P-P.

I'd open 2♦ or 3♦.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

I'd open 1♦ non-vulnerable. This is pretty much my minimum 1♦ bid, and I wouldn't open it first seat vulnerable.

edit:
upon further review, and having tallied my points in a more accurate and verified manner (one Mr Goren would surely agree with)

it's either 2d or pass for me

p will never play me for a hand this good with 3d and will likely bury spades
1d misrepresents the defense

3♦ or Pass. Either you go for the preempt or not. My style is to bid 3♦.

Anything else is not close for me, especially not 1♦.

pass, too many spades for 2 or more diamonds, a little to weak for an opening.
1 Diamond would be my second choice, 3 Diamond my third, but all this is a matter of style.
If I have a weak two avaiable, which could be so strong and may content a four card major, I surely would open it 2 Diamond. But this is not mainstream.
Kind Regards

My partners would never play me for this good of a hand if I opened 2D white/red so I'd open 3D. It's really a style question, if you're an *ahem* elder, your preempting style is probably a little sounder so 2 is fine.

When you can actually feel resistance when you shave, you'll open 2♦. :)

You just can't pass these hands, it's just wrong to pass these hands.

3♦ has to be it, cause 2♦ could (or rather should) be made on much worse hands, like xxx x KJTxx xxxx. OK maybe not quite that weak, but much closer to that than this.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.
