Scoring: MP

1♦-2♣-P-2♠
P-3♠-4♥-All Pass

Here's the auction. Seems clear to pass but what does partner have?

He must have a heavy penalty double of 2 Club and 5 Hearts and 3 Diamonds, because he hopes that you can return to Dimaonds with no fit.
So I give him something around V,JTxxx,AKx,KQJTx
I try 5 Heart.

If he had something like a weak two in heart, too weak to bid over 2 ♣, he had passed now. If he had a strong one suiter in Heart he had act direct. So this is what is left in my limited world....
Kind Regards

Roland

i assume that we're the 1d opener and p is the final 4h bidder?

what it smells like to me is a ♣-♥ 2 suiter that was looking to punish the opps. is it possible that you were favorable?

i expect something like a 65 or a really good 55.

i'd expect x JTxxxx Kx ???xx or A/K JTxxx Ax AQJTx etc.

Where do you find these opponents that overcall at the 2 level missing 100 honors Roland?

I think your interpretation of 4♥ is correct, but I'll put pard on something more like: x, Jxxxxx, x, AQxxx. I don't see why 4♥ implies a diamond fit. As a matter of fact its difficult to see where there's room in his hand for it.

At first I'd say 8 hearts and 3 or 4 clubs with no strenght. But that is so inconsistent with opponents bidding given my cards.

So a penalty pass has to be.
