2 opening is majors? What strength/shape? If it's weak with both majors that would seem to be a standout choice.

Playing more standard opening methods, I would pass this hand (not going to bid 2 with a five card spade suit on the side, not going to open one with 7 points and rebid issues).

Hi,

2D, you have both mayors, and you
dont mind if partner raises you with 4
card spade support heavily.

If you dont want to bid 2D, which I can
understand, than bid 2H. At least it
will kill the complete one and part of the
two level, and you know, they may have
trouble finding a neg. X.

The above mentioned reason and the weak
spade suit may make 2H a better bid than 2D,
because 2D will give them add. options, we
will find out after the board finished.

Same here. Michaels is OK too, but I think our best chance to jam them is in hearts, not in spades.
