Scoring: IMP

Bidding: South opens 1H in fourth seat, North gave a simple raise and South bid the game.

South declares 4H. West (rather quickly) leads the 4 of S (4th best if from length).

Your thoughts?

Agree with Fluffy. If the spade jack is covered I play hearts from hand (queen), planning to use my one entry to dummy to take a second spade finesse later. The quick lead suggests a singleton.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

Doesnt leading a heart from hand probably cost 3 trump tricks, as well as the eventual spade loser?

Enter dummy and finesse East for the heart J. Hopefully he goes up with the A or K and gives his pard a ruff with the other top honor (A or K). Then your Q takes teh remaining Jack. Lose 1 trump, 1 spade, and 1 spade ruff.

Drop the nine under the Jack when it wins.
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."
