I would overcall 2H, but would really not be happy about it, and would certainlly apologise to partner if I went for a number. It really is very close and I would not quibble too much if any pd of mine decided to pass this. I MUCH prefer the hand Roland suggested as a 2H overcall; that is a far better hand.

Yes. I think pass and 1NT are reasonable alternatives. I would overcall 2♥, though.
