BBOTV - feedback We're listening

Works perfectly on my IntelDuo 2 Core 2,16GHz Ubunty Feisty 7.04 with Firefox! I have a widescreen 19" 1440:900, and the graphic looks nice. Agree with the other post about borders etc.
Is this going to be a supplement or is this going to replace the existing client? I really like the idea of watching vugraph's - without installing a client.
What I really would like to see - is a FULLSCREEN option. This would be nice to have in the vugraphs - which then would hide the chat. I'd also would like the option of getting the chat in a detachable pop-up or alike, so I could have that in a different window...but that might be a little tricky?!
Also - there might be issues about the option of having multiple logins open at the same time. It is easier to have control over this with a client, but on a pc with several different browsers... you get the picture.

It is very likely that we will announce a new version of BBOTV in Forums within the next few days. The new version will probably allow you to:
- log in with a real BBO user ID (as opposed to anonymously)
- see lists of friends/stars/yellows
- define people as friends/enemies/neutrals and to maintain notes on other members
- see profiles of any BBO member (even those who are not online)
- join most tables
- play (but only in a "help me find a game" sense)
- chat
None of this is written in stone - sorry in advance if the next release takes longer than expected or if it becomes necessary to disable some of the functions in the above list.
I have also incorporated several of the suggestions made in posts to this thread.
Sorry I have not responded to every post. I promise I am reading them all.

Any chance we could have it back to the method that the previous client used?

The new version picked up automatically and allowed me to log in with my ID without a problem.
Regards.

1st Edit: Like the hand diagram a lot; I prefer this greatly versus the regular cards.
2nd Edit: The chat interface does not interfere with my KeyScrambler software on Firefox; the client sometimes will spit out junk when I type until I bring focus back to the client.
3rd Edit: Fred, is it possible to increase the font sizes for alerts? They are quite tiny compared to the larger and I think richer texts.

If people find this confusing, I am sure I will improve it at some point. Changing such things takes no more than a few minutes.

How can I find a neutral member to add him on my friend list for example?

You can type his/her ID into the space at the right of the Find button and then either click Find or hit the Enter key.
You can also use this technique for seeing profiles of people who are not currently online.
The sizing of the elements in the people-browser definitely needs work. Sorry I did not test at enough screen resolutions and until this morning I was never able to use this on our production server (where the lists have a lot of people in them). Uday and I do all of our work on a test server where there are typically no more than a few people logged in at a time.
Probably I will put out a new version within the next day or 2 in which the proportions in the people-browser are improved.

I need to create some space for this panel.
I created a nice space with proportions I liked.
Unfortunaly the software doesn't remember filter setting and I have to do it each log in.

Thanks for the bug report.
It is not surprising that the Flash client is not being prevented from doing some things it should not be allowed to do (like seeing an invisible table or joining a table where no kibitzers are allowed). There are a lot of cases to cover and it is hard to test all of them.
That is one of the reasons we try to get help from Forums readers
Eventually we will get all of these things right...

When not at a table, the "Kibitzers" tab is so dim that it's unreadable. I think it should be greyed out, but not so much that you can't tell what it would be if it were enabled.

Maybe the font size problem for the friend list has to do with screen resolution? On my screen (high-resolution), their size is just completely out of proportion to everything else (let me know if want a screenshot).
Joining one table (I think a tournament) I had everyone rotated by 90 degree counter-clockwise, i.e. South on the right. Was quite funny, took me several moment to figure out what was confusing me.

Anyway, in the newer version of BBOtv, where you can login with your id and play at a table, there seems to be a bug in the claim feature.
I was declarer and I claimed. It got rejected. Now I could see the opponents hands...
