I just booked a Bridge and walking week. This is not an event that is likely to get vugraph coverage (lol) so I know the chance is slim that it will attract other BBF regulars, but just in case.

My parents used go on these holidays sometimes. I am told the standard of bridge is very low (about the same as their local club) but the walking was fun.

This was a great holiday. Astonishing landscapes, nice house, friendly staff, good food, well-organized walkings and bridge, and nice people.

The bridge level was ok for me. Probably too low for most posters here, but the players knew the rules and their bidding system and I didn't see too many realy ridicolous mistakes. There were a few good players and some with a keen theoretical interest in the game, so there was also room for bridge-related discussions.
