Try setting your BBO language to French.

I tired that. Cards are still in English, both when lookkng at playing cards and when looking at hand diagrams.

Try not using "big cards".
I am not sure the French symbols are not appearing in the other modes. This might be intentional. I will discuss with my contact at FFB.
