Anyone using BBO with Mac? I´ve installed Crossover and BBO succesfully. Crossovers forum advised me to do some alterations quite similar to what Linux uses have done. I only have one problem left. I needed to install symbol.ttf font, which I did. The cards are now shown perfectly, but in the bidding sequence box I only see black and red squares. (edit: The cards are shown ok when I choose "show cards as pictures" with small font.) So I can´t differentiate hearts/diamonds or clubs/spades. Has anyone sorted this out. I did check the Linux-topic and some of them had similar problems. Couldn´t find a solution that would have worked in my situation there either.

Many thanks in advance for your help

I've been using it successfully with CrossOver for months. I'm pretty sure all I had to do to get the suit symbols to show up properly in the bidding diagrams was to install the symbol.ttf font. I think I mentioned everything I did in the BBO for Linux thread.

OK, thanks for your comment. I´ll try to figure it out. I wonder if it´s possible, that symbol.ttf font from quite an old win XP disc doesn´t have all I need. It was about 20 k:s "lighter" than the one I found in another (newer) PC.

Got it now.

It took me some time to find out what was wrong. The problem was not the symbol.ttf, but my Forum settings (stupid me). I only had topics visible within 30 days, so I never found the previous BBO for Mac OSX topic before now. And there I found the information of both places I needed to put the font into.

I only realized the "problem" when suddenly now 30 days old Linux topic disappeared.

Anyways, thank you. Now my bridge playing friends will not call me mac-handicapped.
And I still have no reason to install windows:)

It goes in ~/Library/Application Support/CrossOver/Bottles/bottlename/drive_c/windows/fonts
