You cannot share a single friends list among multiple aliases (except via manual maintenance of the lists).

Drop support@ a line and we'll eventually take care of it

I am trying this from memory, it is something like....

right click on your own name..
go to the friends tab....
find the friend list....
export it (save it as a text file)...
log on as the second (and third and fourth) Id
go to friends tab....
import the list...

Someone who can log on currently can fine tune these instructions with the proper words for the options (export, import, etc).

you can't log on ben?

there's no import function that I can see.

I never did understand what the 'open list' and 'new list' options were really good for.

If my memory does not fool me, you need TD rights to export and import friend lists!
You would need them on both nicks.

Ok.. here it is..

click on your profile under your nick with all your friends....
choose "save as" button and save it with something like hedyg_friends.txt
close the program and log in as second nickname
edit your profile, go to the friend tab
choose New list button.. go find the file you saved as above (hedyg_friends.txt)
Open it...

This will REPLACE your existing friend list with the one you saved and loaded with the "new list button".

I have 5.0.3 and there is no "Save as" option (At least no for "common mortals").
There is also no "new list" button.

I think the extra buttons may be accessible only by users with Tournament Host rights. my other nicks don't have them.

A good reason is to be able to look at two different matches simultaneously. Or both boards in the same match. Or even play yourself somewhere and look at a match. - the matches often maddening slow.

(you need also two different computers).
Cats bring joy and a feeling of harmony and well-being into a home.
Many homeless cats seek a home.
Adopt one. Contact a cat shelter!
You too can be an everyday hero. :)

Why not from the same computer simultaneously?

Actually, that is the first step to selfkibitzing!

Sometimes could be useful to transfer the friends list to other nick if you stop to enjoy with this one, and don't want to write down all of it and to reenter again.
And as Hedy said to have other hidden for common eyes nick for calm play.

Ordinary mortals can't log on twice from the same computer. You need two computers & two nicknames.

The Walddk clan can, but they are a special case.

This does not seem to work with 'enemies'? Or am I missing something (as is often the case)

Should work. Go to friends tab. Click on "show enemy" button. Click on "save list as"... save as some file name. Go to second logon id., go to friends tab, click on show enemies... click on open file... that should do it...I have not, however tried this.
