Assume opponents bid game swiftly in spades, e.g. 1♠-2♠-4♠.
On defense, you are holding ♠QJ2.
Declarer plays the top two trumps.
Assuming you can't afford to play an honor on the first top trump, which honor do you play on the second top trump to inform partner you may now hold the high trump?
Conversely, would playing ♠2 then ♠Q imply you are now out of trump? Or would playing ♠2 then ♠J imply you are now out of trump?

In absence of contrary agreements, it is standard to follow suit with the lowest of equal cards, so the Jack is correct when it is desired to inform partner. In most cases of this type, declarer knows that he is missing a high trump and doesn't card which of you holds it, so there is no particular reason to falsecard here.

If pard follows a 2nd time (and you've seen it), you can play the Q or J in an order to deceive declarer on the location.
If pard shows out on the 2nd round, never, and I repeat never, play the Queen. The Queen absolutely denies the J, but the Jack could be from 2 or 3.
