Hi,

as this site growth the lobby system does not work any more and should be redesigned.

My main issues are:
-1- It is difficult to select an unknown partner by his profile in the main bridge club. The empty seat will be taken when you finished reading.

-2- for an already set up partnership its difficult to find another stable partnership as opps in order to play for a while. Lobby is to big, relevant messages can't be read.

-3- There are to many open tables in the main bridge club wihich change to fast to follow.

-4- When you open a new table you sometimes wait very long till someone shows up. And then u can hardly design by his profile if he suits you or not.

-5- You don't know with unfamiliar partners and opps how long they want to play. This ends up in unstable table setups were opps and pard change often.

Playing is often no fun! And sometimes even wasted time!

Suggestion 1 : More lobbies
Differenciate the lobbies. Make more. One for social style players (for fun only); one for tournament style players (fun and serious play); one for already set up partnerships; maybe one for newbies; maybe one for serious players who want partners ond opps for a long term table (> 1 Hour)

Suggestion 2: More main bridge clubs
Same as for lobbies. Make more so players can select the main bridge club that suits them.

Suggestion 3:
make players (in the lobby) and tables selectable by filters. Attributes for the filters have to be defined (in profile for players; table profile for tables). The values are set by the players themselves (no automatic ranking, pls).

These suggestions would make it more fun to play more often. Please think about it.

PS Tournaments are neither the solution nor an alternative. Imho the tournament area needs some redesign as well, but that should be another thread.
