I am very admiring of the BBO client, the server and, especially, the vugraph.

But I notice that many vugraph files of the current championships are incomplete.
I am not talking about the single-room matches (in which it is normal for closed room data to be missing), but about double-room matches.

In many of them first board (in open and closed room) are missing :
for instance :
QF3a VC Neth_Germ
QF4a BB Pol_Usa2
SF1a, SF1b

or one or more boards are missing :
QF2a, QF2b, QF5a, SF1b,

and many examples in Round Robin.

My guess is that it is due to operator's mishandling. I know that they do their best, and I am very grateful because it is very difficult, but I would like to ask them to try to be even more careful and efficient from that point of view.

You may have noticed that half vugraph .lin files have to be corrected in order to work OK from first to last board because when a board is missing vugraph goes wrong.

I looked at these files on the Swiss Bridge Federation
web site and the only problems I saw were that
sometimes the auction and play for the first board
was missing.

This is the result of security restrictions. The tournament
officials do not want us to start broadcasting until after
the match starts. As such, we sometimes miss the first
board of the match.

If there are other problems that I missed, can you please
send me copies of the files and describe the problems?

I sent all my files to Yvan after correcting them when a board was missing (but I didn't add auction nor play).

If the succession of qx|o1|, qx|c1|,qx|o2|, qx|c2| etc... is not complete vugraph goes wrong. Missing auction or play don't make vugraph to go wrong. I added when it was missing in one room the |md| with all cards, copying and pasting from one room to the missing room.
