Hatred

For those now in the know, the University of Michigan is in the midst of its worst all-around sports season (for the major sports) in more than 60 years... and as a sports fan and alum it's totally killing me.
MSU is more our rival in basketball than OSU... but when you're a Wolverine the nausea you get at seeing scarlet and grey becomes ingrained.
Anyone else have team that they love to see lose? ESPECIALLY at the hands of your favorite team?

I mean, wait, wat?
Just cause Woodsen deserved it is no reason to hold a grudge.
Frankly, we have more cause since you guys had basically no claim to a national title in '97

Honestly, do you think Peyton cares about a Heisman now? I'd like to post pictures of retarded kids receiving their medals from the special olympics to contrast Peyton with his Super Bowl gear, but Special Olympics judges tend to be more objective than Heisman committees, so it's not a fair analogy.

oops... got Peyton right but for some reason confused Nebraska with Tennessee... who we had to split with in '97

Anyway, I'm just playing. I ♥ Michigan. If I could get into their business school, I'd go there obv.

They're the trogs and bottom feeders of the ACC, socially anyway. Mike Gill is an exception. I think he teaches there. Not sure he went there though, which would explain that. There are probably a few other exceptions.

Having grown in Madrid, and having all the children bullying because their team always won and your team always losed was very tough. You get much more hatred when both teams are from the same city

Try and beat Ohio State and the air of nobility would cause you to give up in shame. But a Michigan I mean, why not beat a Michigan?

(Note: not a UCLA, Notre Dame, or Red Sox fan)
ETA: Adam reminded me that I also like to hear about the Lakers losing.

Used to hate Notre Dame in the 90's. Any team that can recruit that well but suck as bad as they did deserves it.
Obvious hate Montana State but they were the Grizzlies (the other U of M) beotches for like, a generation that you kind of wished they'd win once in awhile to make the games more interesting.
Hate the Yankees hate the Raiders (well I pity the coaches and players) because of Davis.

University of Spoiled Children
I thought the teachers were smart...alot smarter than me and the students.
alert I took alot of finance classes there but at some point I went to a cheaper school for my MBA-----
-------------------------
Of course UofM and OS are horrible schools.....
I grew up in Urbana. The home of peace and love and Chip Martel and Cheri B.....and truly many great World Class bridge players.

I guess the worst place in the world is someplace called Green BAy......
Dont get me started....
