Both red. IMP game.
Hold:AQxx AKxx AQx Jx. When you're counting hcps, RHO open 3NT. Double, Redouble, pass, pass!, pass.

Assume you lead HAK and you find the dummy is: Jxxx QJTxx Jxxx void. Everyone followed 2 hearts. Now what to do?

The story is hiden below, hope you enjoy  .

I am cashing the A now and see if pd like them and if Not I will cash A.
I don't believe opener has solid and 2 side Kings. I just have to find my pd with a K.

I agree with the inference, but as far as the play, it's better to just lock in dummy with a . Declarer will now play towards his presumed King and you can now get all your winners for at least +2000, more if you know partner has a pointed ten.

:( WTP? Another heart produces a sure one trick set. If pard has a king, I will be able to determine which one, and a really big set is in the offing. Please, don't tell me RHO's suit is diamonds.

I have nice partners. They would have signalled the suit they have a card in on the first two hearts, seeing as the overall attitude towards hearts and clubs should be known.

a heart, of course, to ensure at least 5 defensive tricks.... To exit with a club was just insane. As adf pointed out, you don't need to guess which K pd has. After cashing 3 H winners, you would surely know that.

I like the club switch - cut down on dummy's ruffing power. ;)

I had this happen once, sort of. Partner had just learned Gambling. Holding a void, partner did not redouble. The opponents elected a lead, whatever it was. Then, seeing a big hole in dummy, attacked dummy's short suit -- the void. I thought that was neat.

And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."
