Just came from the transnational, and its hard toexplain my feeling, with 136 teams 8 qualyfing for the play offs, we were goinf 5th before last round. And finished 9th, even after winning last match (16-14). Before going for a sleep I deserve I'll post a couple of hands from the last round, what do you do?

Scoring: IMP

E - S - W - N
1-1-2*-ps
ps!-??

Wow, Fluffy, this is a BIG place in this field! Hope you are proud about it once you got your sleep.

Not having bid 4H to start, maybe a DBL now would cater to pard holding the missing cards and you will get a big penalty or he will move towards slam.

6 from east and 6 from West are 'cold' if guesses correctly, while althou partner doesn't give you an honnor, you can produce a trrick to achieve 10 tricks.

I bid 4 then LHO bid 5 wich partner doubled thinking there has been a missunderstanding somewhere (there wasn't). But declarer missguessed trumps and we put 1 down!.
