Hey, I'm learning Moscito bit by bit, but I'd like to see the system in action sometimes. When are you guys playing?

Maybe we can use this topic for the future too so everyone who's interested can watch?

Just an idea...

Paul and i are playing in the team "The misfits".
I've post a time of our next match if we are playing in it
(unsure right now if we will play).

Luis might play in the semifinals of the BBO sponsored knockout event tomorrow (saturday, Sept 6) starting at 11 AM. He plays a modified version of Moscito (seems everyone plays a differnet modified version...) ;)

My pair will be playing a modified version of Tresboof
with symmetric rather than MOSCITO relays. Still
forcing pass, transfer-oriented, 4 card majors.

I thought Moscito used Symmetric relays - at least the Aussie version Richard and Ron play.

I assume that since the original versions of the Tresboof doc say that
Tresboof uses MOSCITO relays that at some point MOSCITO used the
same relays. Maybe the test of time has replaced MOSCITO with
symmetric.

As many people have notes, there are a few different variants of MOSCITO floating arround.

Most people chose to familiarize themselves with a basic version of MOSCITO using pure symmetric relay for simplicity.

Serious players normally migrate to an optimized MOSCITO variant. These variant often depart from "pure" symmetric relay, elevating some sequences by a step or two or some such.
