Defense What's the problem?

It seems RHO only has 3 hearts, and lho has less than 4(probably) so you try a heart. Dummy hits with KQTx AT8 JT9xxx ---. Declarer puts in the 8 and wins the 9 with the king. He now tries A of diamonds, Q of diamonds. You win your K, partner showing 3. What now?

I can only imagine my pd to have a hand like this to beat the contract:
Jxx J9 xxx Axxxx, unlikely but i will try it. play a small ♥, pd's jack win, cash his ♣Ace, exit with ♦, wait for two ♠ tricks.

Its possible but less likely first because u give maximum to partenr and second because this leaves declarer with KQJ 6 time club, which he might have not open 1nt, and maybe play on club.
Anyway on QH, declarer will assume u have QJ and his right play is to duck and hope hearts are either 4-4 or 5 hearts are with the A of spade.

Difficult to remember that declarer can't see your hand

Great play. I rarely spend time thinking this kind of play at the table unless it's a routine false card situation, of course i'm still trying to be an expert player.
Justin, could you tell us this play (trying to mislead declarer) came to your mind at a flash or you would think about it all the time when you had a tough defense hand?

This particular play I had never seen, but if you think about it RHO probably has 3 hearts for his 3H bid so pard has J9 dub, so if you lead a low heart back your hearts will not get setup. But since declarer doesnt know where the jack is, he will likely duck. It's not a hard play if you think about it, the hard part is thinking about it.
