You are South and second seat. Imps. All white. Meckwell were N/S. Not sure the E/W agreements served them best, but please duplicate the auction if your North doubles here. If your North bids, East passes. I'm thinking to pause after 50 deals.

I don't have an agreement here, but I think double should initiate a GF in these sort of situations. Otherwise double as 6-7 threatens to pass and leaves partner without a cue bid.

1C (2D) dbl rdbl
P 2H P P
3D P 3H P
3S P 4S P
5C P 5D P
6S P P P

1-(2)-X-(XX) strong; multi; GF balanced, penalty oriented; bid your suit
P-(2)-P-(P) willing to defend at least one major; natural; can't hit hearts (forcing)
3-3
3-4
4N-5 RKC; 1/4
6

It seems a bit pushy, but opener probably should try for more over 4S, and then missing one key seems worth trying.

Not sure about this one, I don't even know if the Dbl is correct...

1-(2)-Dbl-(RDbl) (16+ ; 6-7 or GF without a clear bid)
pass-(2)-3 (5+ ; GF no stop)
3-4? (4+ ; fit)
pass?

Two-way pass:

pass (3) pass (pass)
dbl 4
4NT 5
6

pass = 0-8 or 15+
dbl = take-out, obviously a 15+ hand
4 = worth 4 opposite 15+

From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."
