Why isn't 3 simply a competitive bid, or maybe a game invitation? 19-20 seems unnecessary.

not sure but it seems that 3s if 19-20 must have been a slam try across from 10-12 tp.

I am guessing here but maybe?

3s=slam try
4s=game, dont bother to invite across from 10-12 TP?
which means you must pass and let pard balance here?

I agree with competitive, game invite should be via double.

@mike777: Please don't quote the entire hand, it makes the page slower to load.
Imagine my surprise when I tried to log into Wells Fargo from Kigali and got the message that "You have authenticated successfully, but, we don't trust your current location. Everything will be fine when you log in from home."

Of course, I did the seemingly obvious thing and logged in from home. Yeah, not so much. That got my account completely locked out and took a 2.5 hour phone call where I had to escalate up three levels of support representative before reaching someone who could understand what VNC was [...]

I don't know what 4 would have been, since 9 of the 10 Souths bid 3 despite (or, more likely, without previewing) the explanation. The other South passed as you suggest and ended up in 4.

Looks like bug, which ignores the voluntary jump to 2 from none-passed hand. If partner was initially passed ( which doesn't change much the 2 meaning ), it handles, showing more accurate meaning of 3 which is 13-15TP and 4th.

It will be fixed.

Georgi: Do you have the "none-passed" and "initially passed" explanations switched here?

Correct, thank you. Reversed meaning.
