Hi, I want to know is there a way of copying a setof 4 hands onto a movie file with out having to type 3 hands into the movie on BBO (if you understand what I mean)

I opened a teaching table and copied the 4NT hand into a movie file and saved it to my desk top, that way I can load up and play the hand at my leisure

I suppose what I am asking is what is the easiest way to get (for exampl, the 4NT hand in the forums currently), a hand from the forum into a file I can play about with at a teaching table in BBO

p.s. I will have the solution to the 4NT problem by December atthis rate :)

If you are creating a lin file, if you enter three of the hands with a extra comma, the program will insert the fourth one for you automatcially. Just make sure you do not use a card twice, and that each hand has 13 cards.

The format would be something like this.

MD|4SakqjHakqDakqCakq,St987hJt9Djt9,cjt9,,S2H432D432c432|

Note for this hand, the 4 after the vertical line means EAST deals (don't ask, but you can use 1, 2, 3 or 4 to change the dealer), and the first hand is

AKQJ
AKQ
AKQ
AKQ

The "S" "H" "D" and "C" are what you think they are, and the hands are seperated by the commas. Note that tow commas shows where the missing hand would go. You could also start with a missing hand, if you like with this format...

MD|4,SakqjHakqDakqCakq,St987hJt9Djt9,cjt9,S2H432D432c432|

Now the missing hand comes first.

I hope this is what you were asking for.
