Scoring: IMP

E - S - W - N
1-1-1-ps
1NT-2-2-3
3-4-ps-4
ps-6-ps-ps
ps

There was some kind of missunderstanding, 4 seemed like 0454 for south, and cue for north, then 4 was nothing in for south, while it was cue for the other (still an overbid probably).

West leads the 10, you duck with the hope he has no more s and it is not overtaken, but west continuues with 9 (East plays the K).

How do you plan to make this?.

Change suits as often as possible, as fast as possible, and hope for a revoke :)

If west is 7=2=2=2 with Qx, then AK, ruff a , cash A, throwing a , 2 rounds of , ending in my hand, J, pitching dummy's last , ruff a , ruff a , draw trump and claim.

This requires a miracle, and an east who opens 1 with 4=4 in the minors (which I do not do, but I know some [including a certain pipe-smoking, island-stealing Dane] who do). East holds something like KQ Kxx 9xxx KQ87.

Mike's line seems good, althou the bidding strongly suggests are 6-3, and if you knew East (that's me), he had never ever opened 1 with 4-4 in the minors :).

Declarer (Ozdil) here took it easy, at trick 3, just laid down the A, and scored 12 tricks after finese. Well played!, and a missdefence from partner who could have played at trick 2 I guess :).
