Recently I was browsing around the 'Net and I ran across the Australian Bridge Federation's website where they hold the system cards for all their players in major tourneys (http://www.abf.com.au). One of the cards had the following in the "Other Notes" section:
<from the Australian Capital Territory's Youth CC PDF>
"We like to bid."
"We prefer to bid game."
"We are not afraid of Moysian fits."
"Suit quality is for wimps."
Another note that happened on a different CC <Western Australia's Open CC PDF>:
When do you use Gerber? Answer: When NOT holding 13 cards.
Third note, this time with South Australia's answer to the Gerber question...
When do you use Gerber? Answer: When hell freezes over.
Moral of the story is, the Aussies are definitely more progressive than us Americans.

"Champions aren't made in gyms, champions are made from something they have deep inside them - a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. " - M. Ali
