Lost my phone for a few days, with hindsight recommend it to anyone (it's amazing how many things there are to read in newspapers and magazines or to discuss by actually talking).

Some ongoing battles and many interesting hands to catch up, but let's settle for this hand.

geeze, I think I would pass. 2 Aces don't make it an opening hand, does the void get us there?

I'm glad you have your phone back !!

All my club passed, just testing the waters.

In my light opening Precision partnership, this is 2D, but otherwise pass.

I wouldn't object to a partnership agreement to open 1C, but I wouldn't usually (sometimes I feel like fooling around) spring it on an unsuspecting partner.

You are the last person I'd expect to see opening this hand :)

If needed I am willing to rebid 2C on a five card club suit on these hand types. They do come up often enough

We usually get out in 2c or 2d. Or the opponents come in..
Opponents seem to love to bid over 2+ club openings..

Pass, 1♣ or 2♦/2♥ (depending on partner) Majors. Hmm

Pass - not with both Majors and that shape.

If 1♣ we likely find the Major fit anyway, but If partner has weak ♦ only we could be in 1N or 2♦. If partner has a modicum of values, but we misfit 3N may be too high.

If 2♦ we could end up playing in the Moysian, or miss game.

I open 1♦ (unbalanced) on 10 counts so would go for 1♣ here.
