Do you have a plan?

Double transfer and let's see what happens on the response to the 2nd one. I don't fancy 3N and 5♣ may be too much.
Having said that opener with 2443 should bid 3N and possibly with 2(53)3 with the 9-card club suit providing a source of tricks.

MP or IMP?

At IMPs, make the xfer, show clubs, if p bids 3NT, bid 5C.
With kind regards

Might partner not be 3343 and well upholstered in the reds ?

Removing to 4♣ would allow him to bid 4♠

As long as 4C is not interpreted as slam try, why not.
Also you may end up in 4S with a 52, when you have a 63 club fit,
you did start with spades, i.e. p can expect, that spades are longer.

I wouldn't expect longer Spades only 5xx5 at as a base shape, but would expect a slam try in Clubs given Spades aren't raised, but stopping in 5♣ can be engineered.

It was MP but I'm also interested in how you would bid IMP (Tournament this weekend :) )
I'll add more soon

IMP is simple, go for it.
At MP it is harder, ..., there is a lot to be said, to let it rest in 2S,
if p cannot make a super accept, trying to get a plus score.
On power you will have at most 25HCP, entries in your hands are minimal,
but I am terrible at MP for various reason.

I'm dipping my toes in for slam.

Not at all exciting but that's why you come first and I'm 2nd or 3rd, or worse.

I bid 4H, partner asked for key cards and we went down in 5.
However, I believe we both have room for improvement. I'll post the full hand when I'm back home.

Id take 3♠ as max. given 3♣ is GF. Id make the slam try given 2x1st round controls. Now 3N shows weak trumps and opener can make a decision from there.

I would bid 2H (transfer) and then 3N. For me, 3C after a transfer is a slam try, and this is not a slam try.

It's time to apply hand building. Try to build a hand that would open 1N opposite which a slam is better than a finesse. Not completely impossible but it really takes something very specific.

It's a club game, declarer play is good, defence is so so.
