do you torture partners with a really weak weak two of 6 cards (don't be fooled by the awful BBO choice of 10 instead of T) and a major on the side?
Yet another competitive auction

I did. Although reluctantly, because I don't share the distaste for a side 4cM (by agreement it is possible and partner can pick it up in the 2N ask if strong enough) and I would not open this 1D, my only LA is Pass.
Will progress when I get to a PC.

I have seen some juicy penalty options in those light opening bids.

Not here. An awful agreement imo. For a lot of what I would, presumably mistakenly, thought obvious. As a simple one .your RHO must be sworn to silence for this to work. I play most of my bridge against people who enjoy bidding

Yes, I want action. Am I afraid of partner passing because of my void? Sure. I don't have the trump to lead to get that one off the board (and probably it isn't "one" on the board). But I expect to get 3 of my 4 control cards as tricks, and two trump tricks from partner (never mind a cashing side suit honour) will set this. +100 might not be best, but the same "aggressive third seat preempt" that you can make 4M even with a hand that would pass the double is going for 500 at least.

Now?
Seriously? They have a 12 card club fit and they just let the auction go 3C x P? Not impossible. South may have some 5332=with nothing but losers outside of clubs

Partner might not have 4H, but could also be 5431 (remember we do not know the hand opposite!) so the risk of a cue bis in case a or a value showing X (which in the end says bid your major) in case b is that there is a real risk partner bids S. And I do not necessarily want to correct to 5D with such a weak suit where we could be losing 1 or 2 trumps. With H and S reversed, we could always correct 4H to 4S which I guess should show I have D as well? What do expert think? Or does it just show a good hand better than a direct 4S?
Anyway we are dealt those H and I will (like JB) bid 4H and hope my bare CA prevents my hand being shortened if I do not lose the lead while pulling trumps (misguessing the Q or having to knock out the A).
On the last one I have to X and it probably ends the auction. If partner bids 5 red I will bid 6, and if partner bids 5S I will (MP) leave it.
