Hi

I just made this unfortunate misbid in a small MP tourney

I was on some kind of automatic pilot and took 2H as a transfer
Of course 2 spades over 2H after 2D majors was also forcing

I was so sure of the quality of the field and that I was alone in my error that I stupidly threw in the cards and moved on

2 spades made, scorfed 50% and 4/6 players were in the same auction

Always play the cards and never assume such an error is yours alone

Good advice.
My partner and I play transfers are on over interference. We try to keep things as simple as possible since we (usually I!) forget things. Best regards. Mike

I think that is what happened to most of the field forgetting opps had bid spades

I know Stayman is still on after some interefence too - I wonder if doubling 2D would have been Stayman?

But I still am begging the question why North passed :) I am assuming it may have been confused by a strange sequence

I was so sure I would be at the bottom on 2 spades minus something
