I have been a daily player of Bridge Base for years using the anonymous area before you sign in. I thought it was terrific and I used features like master points, undo, redeal and others that don’t seem to be available anymore after these changes? This wasn’t just free bridge, it was a way for beginners to practice and a place to play for those too timid to play against others on the site. Now, that’s gone. Change for the sake of change is in no way an improvement. I don’t even know what the score means now, there’s no undo feature in case you pull the wrong card, can’t redeal a boring hand and there are bizarre long ads that have no way to exit even after watching…it just stays on the screen. It’s not fun.
I’m so disappointed after playing for years. Why did you do this?

I totally agree that this was a bad decision to remove the previous versions of anonymous play. I login to play in paid master-point tournament games on a regular basis. But I also have regularly used the anonymous play buttons to practice and compare my results to other who may also be playing online anonymously. I hope enough users agree so that these features can be reinstated.
