That's because BBO then switches the player to play the hopeless contract. Lucky me.

Which is an absurd defect of the BBO interface which I have repeatedly reported for 12 years now, to no avail.

The problem is the stupid 2NT bid
Who cares if robot is 8-11 flat
just bid 2♦ like any human would
and the bidding will go smoothly
2N is a never bid over 2♣
make it something like 3 kings so it will never happen
