I think the new home page is functional and well thought out, more logical than before and with clearer terminology.
The graphics are a bit dowdy but that is not a big issue to me, at least.

A small but useful step forwards, unlike the new tournaments list which adds stress to what was once a simple task, or the BBX flags which obscure the names of opponents during play.

The update is TERRIBLE. My partner and I have to all of this extra scrolling, or type in a search box to find Speedballs. My mother is 95 and terribly put out by the new (probably AI written) pretty - but way too busy interface. While it looks pretty - boy is it harder to use than the prior version. Below is a story you can feed your AI (or if you have real developers, they'll understand it). We find we miss a game a night because we're having trouble finding the games we want to play. EXTREMELY frustrating.

AS a Player, I need to be able quickly find the game types I want within 1-2 clicks in ACBL World without having to scroll, click multiple times, or be confused by filters buttons that don't immediately make sense.

SUCCESS Criteria - I have an easy to recognize single button filter of Bridge Games for the exact type of game I want to play. People who only play Speedball can within one-click see just the upcoming speedball games and no other game types.

Thanks. Sounds like you are referring to the list of upcoming tournaments, is this correct?

Usually using the "Pairs" filter helps to immediately show just the upcoming pairs. Noted the comment about a way to see "your games", this has been a recurring suggestion.

It's genuinely unpleasant to browse the tournament menu to find anything. Akin to looking for your flight is a huge confusing airport


1. If I'm in the middle of playing a tournament, it should automatically be on the top of the list. I've already started this tourney. Why should I have a complicated search every time I return to something I'm in the middle of?

It used to be the case that it will pop my paid started tournaments on the top, not not the free ones. Now it's fair. Even the paid ones aren't showing on top.....


2. Filters are still a hassle if I need to recreate them every time I login.
If you can have an option "keep those filters as default" it will make the rain forest of tournament more navigable.


3. Even better. Can we have the option to get my favourite tournaments, tournaments I started etc on the first screen when I login?

Now, I need to do multiple clicks every time I login. Click all tournaments (competitive) -> all tournaments. Then choose. Why can't I have this menu just as I login. This is the only place I go to anyway! Current design forces me to do those 2 extra step multiple times every day for no reason.

Btw, FunBridge just did this fix about a year ago, and it is a pleasure.. I login, click "play" and up come all the tournaments I'm in the middle of playing.
