I'm comfortable with advanced gibbon partner bidding double here, but WTH (as mikeh would say) was 5♣ about, with a balanced hand vulnerable? :blink:

The description of 5♣ says "18+ HCP". Is that new? I would have guessed the old GIB description would be "27+ HCP" or similar nonsense.

Disappointed (even in a dying forum) to receive no other responses.

I have a hunch (maybe wrong) that previous GiB would not have made this blunder (@smerriman would know).
I also feel that the current developer @lorserker should comment.
