Thx. I tried some of that already, I think. I'll try it all again, though somehow I feel the problem lies elsewhere.

And no, I'm not swtiching to netscape... eheh. I don't like the philosophy of solving a problem by downloading a 200 Mb "patch" B)

Then I would suggest a 5MB patch :-) - switch to Firefox :-))).

I don't know how many IE-functions are missing in Firefox (never used IE extensively) but I know that there are a lot of functions that Firefox has and IE has not, most of the functions that both have are implemented more securely in FF and there is a ton of extensions available that you can get. (Plus, there is much more user control over what the browser does, and much cleaner configuration...)

I don't know what else could be causing the problems.

Whereagles: check that your long post don't contain anything that might be held back by your Decent Internet Content filter. Child or animal abuse, alcohol promotion, brown sticker conventions etc.

I experienced loads of problems 2 years ago, my conection is broad band, but the cable that goes out of my house is exactñy at the limit of quality to support it, wich means under some circumstances it won't work properly. when that happens I lose 80-97% of packets, and I had problems posting here, getting errors, and when clicking back on bowser toresend them, sometimes I had got the error while reloading the page, not sending aso I send the message twice.

Don't think that has much connection to what is happening to you, but who knows...
